Animate my project/product "DONUT" - intelligent water management

Background: We are a Danish Water Utility involved in an exciting innovation consortium consisting of both private companies, universities and Danish water utilities. Together we are creating the future of water system management; we are developing intelligent sensors to measure water-level and water-flow within the sewage system; the sensors may have different source solutions and the sensor may monitor different parameters. The idea is that the sensors will be wireless, and come with a cloud-solution, where the measurements can be accessed through. So far, we have decided to call this project "Distributed Online Monitoring of the Urban WaTer cycle" - DONUT in short. Aim of the animation: 1) To show the present scenario: Highlights the need for better monitoring of the water cycle, specifically within the drainage and sewage systems. 2) To show the future scenario (the DONUT sensor): To communicate that the DONUT-solution solves current problems. The storyline: Throughout the video the story will be seen from a customer’s perspective: His/her current (bad) situation is characterized by little knowledge and information about the water system and expensive sensors (of course he knows a lot but the water system is huge and complex and it is possible to gather more information). The future (good) scenario shows how the donut solution can solve his problems. The costumer is represented by a person working in a water utility company/a waterworks. This employee knows a lot about sensors and is often the one to decide whether to buy a sensor or not. Information about ‘DONUT’: Develop and commercialize a unified solution, which will enable cost-efficient distributed monitoring of the hydrological and hydraulic states of the urban water cycle and provide data and knowledge about the system correlations. It will combine several technological areas, i.e. smart energy-efficient sensors, IoT, big-data and ICT (Information Communication Technology), in order to develop cost-efficient monitoring infrastructure and create highly valuable information, which results in a new and increased level of knowledge. Herby the "DONUT product" will: - Be easier to setup than the existing solutions on the market - Be cheaper than the existing solutions on the market - Measure water level and water flow - By enabling water companies to install more sensors, it will provide a better overview of the wastewater system, by giving valuable knowledge and information - Let companies gain access to that information through a cloud solution Please have a look at the attached file for a detailed storyboard.
