I am a self motivated learner, eager to not only learn about new technology and design/architectural patterns but to also apply them. When developing a solution, not only do I value getting the job done, but doing so in a scalable and reliable manner, keep in mind Day 0, Day 1, and Day 2.
A summary of my professional career: I've helped a multi-national enterprise software company revolutionize their software development lifecycle and software architecture. By helping dev teams migrate from a monolith to microservices architecture, developing and incorporating end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging no downtime blue-green deployments, we were able to cut software releases from months to bi-weekly.
I led the buildout of cloud solutions, core AWS infrastructure, and data platform that powered a $15B hedge fund. I worked extensively on data engineering tooling such as spinning up our own Apache Airflow with numerous customizations such as config-based dynamic DAG generation, custom operators, sensors, etc. I also worked extensively on containerizing all workflow, CI/CD pipelines, data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake), alerting/monitoring (Slack, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, DataDog), and a systematic data ingestion framework (emails, FTP, SFTP, APIs, S3, etc)
I look forward to helping you tackle your technical challenges.
