As a Technology Architect, I have achived the following:
• Major consulting projects as technical lead for clients that include GE, Gartner and US HHS.
• Several patents for wireless telemetry devices, and wireless infrastructure and back-end systems.
• Architect and lead development of the HomeAgain companion animal recovery system for Merck using Microsoft .NET technologies. On completion migrated system into Merck corporate infrastructure, networking with Oracle and SUN Solaris.
• Designed embedded systems, firmware and backend systems for several RFID implementations. Applications included vehicle tracking, medical alert and cattle management. Systems include Microchip PIC, Rabbit Semiconductor and many wireless devices.
• Many large scale legacy support/conversion projects integrating DocuManage (DocuCorp), MS Mappoint and Google Maps, VAX/VMS and Microsoft Framework 3.5/4.0.
• Architect and leadership role in deployment and support of the first nationwide alphanumeric paging system.
• Hands-on experience with both UNIX and Windows based systems, JavaScript, AJAX and J2EE, Microsoft development tools from VB/ASP Version 6 to Framework 4.0 and WPF, WCF,MVC, VB and C#, MSSQL 2005/2008 and Oracle 9i/10i.
• Served as architect and main technical lead for several start-ups, designing hardware, software and backend systems and software for demonstration to investors.
• Design and development of mobile applications for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms.
