I am a graphic designer and artist with a wide range of abilities and experiences. I have worked for a number of great businesses primarily on business documents, presentations and web. My experience extends beyond that with freehand illustrations, computer illustrations, logos, infographics, books, motion graphics, photography and more. I work with all Adobe Creative Cloud applications and I am an expert with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver.

I worked for a vendor to create multiple presentations for Cisco. Most of these presentations revolved around sales summit comment card reports. They wanted an easy to view and interactive set of infographics to review results. I also created a number of powerpoint and product brochures.

Cisco Presentations

I did a number of design jobs for a Connecticut based tech company. This business worked primarily in the private sector creating interfaces for government agencies, election processes and more. Two primary jobs they hired me for was to create an internal search engine and to redesign a state's website. I was also involved in creating a number of info graphics.

PCC Tech

I am also a skilled painter. While my medium of choice is oils, I have worked in water colors and acrylic as well.

Initially endorsed for Art (#042), a dual endorsement for Technology (#098) was added in September 2014 and I transitioned from the art department to the business/technology department. Classes focus on graphic design, web design, motion graphics, digital photography and video production. Classes include fundamental skills as well as advanced techniques. Students learn concepts in composition, typography, marketing from a designer’s point of view, color theory, and software skills.

Enlisted as a Sergeant in C. Co. 242 Combat Engineer Battalion. Duties and training included: Leadership training and general troop readiness, First Aid, CPR, Equipment Management, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare training, Construction, Small and Heavy Demolition, Basic Rifle Marksmanship, and Security. Awards include: the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the National Guard Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the National Defense Medal to include mobilization.
