Monica proofread my PhD thesis (British English). I'd be very happy to work with her again. She is a native English speaker with a deep understanding of her native tongue and a high level of motivation. She even flagged technical errors like the inconsistent naming of variables, which went way beyond the scope of language-related proofreading. She exceeded expectations when it came to delivering on time and communicated very well throughout the entire process. Her quality was good. In some cases, I wished she would have taken more liberty in rephrasing dodgy expressions. But I think this was due to the short turn-around time and the prioritization of delivery time over details in line with previously discussed expectations. I would gladly work with her again.
