It was reported that the iconic and ‘unbreakable’ Nokia 3310 is making a huge comeback. HMD Global will unveil the modern version of the early 2000’s most coveted handset in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 26.

And just like the rest of the world, we’re thrilled to see how it would look like!

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO

Show us how you think the modern Nokia 3310 would look like by designing it the way you have imagined. Do you think it will come in different colors? What could be the dimensions and screen size?

REQUIREMENTS

- Submit a 3D design of the new Nokia 3310

- It’s up to you what basic parts (buttons, headset jack, camera, etc.) you would include in your design. There’s no need to show the interface or any other technical features.

- Show front, rear, and all four sides of the phone

- Submit layout/design files in landscape format (4:3 aspect ratio)

PRIZES

There will be one (1) main winner who will receive US$500 and two (2) runners-up who will win US$150 each.

Submit your entry and get the chance to have your work featured in Freelancer email campaigns, landing pages, Showcase page, and in some online publications.

  I do get it, they need to keep the phone basic, robust, with long battery life, and affordable like the original, thats why people of all ages love it. Surely they could of come up with better design but then if it only retails at £41. Tough one

Hi contest holder. Lots of these designs are not 3D as stated in the brief where by they show an image that shows 3 sides of their design ie isometric view?

  @kervintuazon it's a lot harder to do 3D modelling than cropping and stitching some images.
  
  But anyway. That's our opinion ODBdesign, the CH will make the decision to accept or not simple illustration.
