Hello freelancers,
I'm in need of a perfect logo for my new business called BornholmerKort (Translated into english = BornholmerCard)

BornholmerKort is a deal site, where local shops, restaurants, cafes and more, can sign up on our site. We only accept those, who we consider of high quality, and something we consider as an essential thing to see, when our customers are are in town.
If you have any other questions, dont hesitate to ask, i will be in front of the computer the next few hours :-)

Requirements for the logo:
- The colors used must be something that people associate with holidays, the island "Bornholm", savings/deals, adventures/exploring, outdoor
- The name "BornholmerKort" must be included
- I would like a logo, that is intelligent and creative. Something subtle would be awesome!
- The logo has to be 100% unique. If i ever find illustrations or something that looks similar, i will contact Freelancer staff immediately. Further serious actions will also be taken.
- If you fail to deliver something that we like, your money will not be paid.

Let me first say, that we live and operate on the small danish island called Bornholm, you can search it on google :-)
BornholmerKort is a "deal site", where local shops, restaurants, cafes and more, can sign up on our site. We only accept those, who we consider of high quality, and something we consider as an essential thing to see, when our customers are are on the island. People buy our card online, and picks it up around different locations. Then they can show the card when they buy something, and then save some money. It is important to notice, that we do not accept every store to be a part of this project. We only take shops, resturants, cafees and similar, that we think people HAVE to experience when they are on the island Bornholm. No webshops are included.
We sell cards to both tourists and people who already live on the island

4. Which industry your business is in
Our type of bussiness industry is hard to define. We both sell products to tourists and to people who already live on the island. But the essentiel thing in our product, is to show people what is special about the island.

5. Your main target audience
We mainly go for tourists, but it is important the people who already live here, not only associates our logo with another tourist company. You will have to find the right balance in the logo.
We have a lot of potential families.

6. Any preferred colous you want to use
You have free hands, surprise us. But something that is associated with saving, high-quality products(Without going into gourmet and high-end products), holidays, happiness, increased experience value.
We like playful logos, that have a subtle illustration - without being too childish, obvious and stupid.

7. Anything you definitely do not want to include on the logo
- We like illustrations, but we hate when they are too big - so dont do that please.
- Please make a subtle logo, but dont make it too complex or abstract.
- Skip abstract illustrations and visual clichees like Light bulbs for ‘ideas’, speech bubbles for ‘discussion’, swooshes for ‘dynamism’, etc

  Hello. Great question! BornholmerKort means Bornholmer Card. Bornholm is a danish island, and because we sell cards, which people can use to save money around the island, the name Bornholmerkort(BornholmerCard) came up.
