The Pup Scholar – A company focusing on educating our community about canine science and behavior. We teach classes, hold workshops, offer training courses, educational materials, and work individually with pet parents, rescues, and shelters to assist with the rehabilitation and behavioral modification of dogs who suffer from PTSD, anxiety, or those that are displaying aggressive behavior and/or neurological disorders.
Our company has services and programs for all people within our community, adults and children. However, we are not strictly a family focused company nor strictly focused on the consumer. Our main goal is to improve the lives of canines by educating not only the community of pet owners, but OTHER pet professionals as well. We strive to bring together professionals from all areas of the pet industry to help collaborate our knowledge so that we can share and expand that education between professionals, and then within the community.
The type of audience we want to appeal to would be: Adult pet owners (with or without children), and Adult Professionals working in the Pet Industry (Such as Rescue & Shelter workers and Volunteers, Veterinarians, Dog Trainers, Pet Store Owners, Pet sitters & Dog Walkers, Pet Product creators, etc.)
Our main message we want to portray is that we are an all-inclusive educational resource for ANYONE with a dog in their life, or with an interest in learning more about dogs. We want to be the FIRST thought in someone’s mind when they need information on the canine species, whatever that info may be (health, medical, behavior, diet, etc.). For our fellow canine professionals, we want to be a resource where they can access education from other professionals and share their own knowledge, a community where we all work together for the greater goal of making the lives of animals better through proper, modern care in all aspects of their lives.
The look and feel of the logo should be: Modern, Sophisticated, Scholarly, Educational, and Loud.
Colors: We want a warm color scheme using mostly green and yellow, with minimal use of reds and oranges if needed. The colors Black and grey can also be used. I have attached a few color palettes with shades we like, however, we do not have an exact set of shades at this time.
This business was inspired by a relationship with a very special dog. I have attached photos of the dog. We would like for you to create the logo in the likeness of that dog. We would like him to look like a scholarly fellow. I have attached photos of “Scholars” to provide creative inspiration for how to illustrate the dog. I have also included some samples of Logo styles that we love and would like to see incorporated into the design.
Ultimately, we want you to take the photo of the dog, and create a similar style from the other logos, making the final image be of a Dog that looks like ours, dressed as a scholar and looking very smart and ready to educate. You may include other items within the logo such as books, scrolls, glasses, scholar caps, or other small add-on items that portray an image of having vast knowledge.
