Welcome to Novo Nordisk's very first contest!
We invite you to enter into our very first contest on Freelancer.com. Through this contest, we hope you can help us identify potential digital disruptive scenarios that could impact our core business model at Novo Nordisk.
The final deliverable is either a one page written PDF report or a 1-2 page slide deck presentation outlining 1-3 of your ideas for a strategy that we can implement.
Read on further for more specific details and to find out more about why we are running this contest, the prizes we will be offering and our judging criteria.
***SCOPE SUMMARY***
The scope of this contest will ask you to think about how technology/digitalisation can push business transformation or even disrupt our core value chain (fully or partly) for, primarily, diabetes or obesity.
Specifically, we want you to focus on areas facing our external environment outside of Novo Nordisk such as patients, health care professionals/medical professionals, regulators and payers, insurance companies, pharmacies etc.
Game changing technologies could be, but not limited to, data analytics (incl. predictive), artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud, mobile, virtual care etc.
***REQUESTED DELIVERABLE***
We invite you to contribute your idea of a potential solution through identifying 1-3 key digital disruptive scenarios that could impact the core business model of Novo Nordisk.
We will NOT accept submissions that focus on the optimisation of internal processes and ways of working within Novo Nordisk. Instead we want you to think about the external environment AFTER the product leaves the factory and how technology can play a role in changing the lives of patients and other players in the value chain, create new business opportunities etc.
The responses shall be written in English and be submitted in .pdf format. This can be either a one page PDF report or 1-2 page PDF slide deck presentation.
***PRIZES***
We will be offering multiple prizes totaling $13,050 USD. The prize breakdown will be as follows:
1st Prize $3000 USD
2nd Prize $2000 USD
3rd Prize $1000 USD
Additionally, we will be offering up to 47 additional prizes of $150 USD for your ideas!
***JUDGING CRITERIA***
Reports and presentations will be judged based on the following criteria:
Explanation of what will happen, where (i.e. who are impacted), how and why. When relevant: adequate data, drawings or schematics, etc. to support the scenario.
Demonstrate basic understanding of technologies/future use of technologies, the diabetes/obesity market, related industries or partnerships etc.
Creativity/Uniqueness
Thoughtfulness
Feasibility
