UPDATE: Since as far only few proposals are near our expectations I decided to send some inspiration. We would like to receive more designs that are up to present trends: flat illustrations, Tiny illustrated patterns, Hyper-simplistic geometry, shaped color blocking/gradients, Solid all-over color etc.

Of course not all can work well with children products, poster paints or plastcine. But it's artist's role to choose the way it works ;)

Hi, I represent manufacturer of school art supplies. We want to introduce new brand of our products.

Our new brand is going to ba called "CLASA" - which we want to be associated with classy, high-class and classroom (goods are intended to be used by pupils mainly).

Products sold under CLASA brand are going to be top quality, so package and brand should also be premium. It can be brave and fresh style for this kind of products. On the other hand, design can't be too serious or minimalistic, it should focus attention of children and parents. Children should love it, parents should feel it as a reliable item.

Branding can include leading character or few characters, as some competitors use them. If you decide to add them, please make sure it will be drawn or animated better than most stock characters available.

At the very beginning we need logo, brand leading colors, leading characters idea and 2 products initial box designs.
As for box designs, we need them for 2 products:
- poster paints - 12 color paints in 20 ml cups, box size is about 27 x 10 x 5 cm (top 27x10 opened), name should be bilingual, main name is in polish: Farby Plakatowe, additionaly english name next to it or under: Poster Paints. There should be information about 12 colours x 20 ml, and some pictograms showing product strengths: UV resistant, high efficiency, strong colors etc. More description, barcode etc. will be put at the box bottom.

- plasticine - 12 colors wax based modelling plasticine, box size 20 x 10 x 2 cm - it can be vertically oriented with hanger (short side opened), window cutting acceptable. Similiar demands as for paints. Polish name: Plastelina, english name: plasticine. Strengths: soft and smooth, no hand staining, vivid colors.

Boxes should be made in CMYK color range for printing, with additionally up to 2 Pantone colors. Some refinements like hot-stamping, UV printing are acceptable if can improve box look significantly.

After choosing winning project, we will deliver die-cuts and more details to finish boxes and prepare for printing. We would also like to establish long-term cooperation, since there are going to be more boxes to make for paint and plasticine with different numbers of colors and other products as well (color pencils, drawing paper pads etc.)

Thank you all for proposals. There are quite a few worth of winning. I won't extend contest since it wouldn't be fair with people that made great effort to join in time. We are going to choose winner within 14 days. Meanwhile I may ask some questions to authors that are mostly considered by us.
BTW Our company needs different kinds of designs from time to time, so if you won't win, your proposal might be great introduction of your style and we can contact you in future. Once again thank you all. :)

Hey, for inspiration you can check few brands (stationery industry): Carioca (new designs for 2021), Giotto, Milan Stationery ("Sunset" collection). You can check them for inspiration, since later our products range will be similiar.
Their designs are good, but seem to be little conservative (old and well known brands, they have some heritage they don't want to change too much).
Generally we would like something else than they do. We need pretty simple layout, brave idea with eye catching colors, pretty modern. Well done simplicity makes very good impression - easy to identify brand and product name.

  Clasa is same sound as Polish "klasa", which means class (high rank), also classroom and school group. We changed K to C to make it more obvious for English speaking.
