The purpose of this assignment is to create your own animation with two themes
sections similar to the template animation given to you in the '[login to view URL]' file.
The animation should be drawn on a 600x400 canvas, be of duration
of at least 20 seconds and will consist of two (2) different scenes. For the implementation
of this assignment you are given an auxiliary file named "[login to view URL]" which contains
the images you will use to create the requested animation.
Attention: All images should be extracted and copied to the desktop,
because if you try to import them from the folder with all the material they give you, they might not
allows you to import them into the Synfig program.
Step 1 - Scene 1 (3 credits)
• In the first scene the car will move from the left of the scene to the right. Give
pay attention to the rotation of the wheels of the car must move properly.
Note: If you make one wheel spin then you don't have to for the second one
do it from scratch!
• Also, in the first scene you will insert both images that depict the trees that you
are given.
• The background 1 together with the trees should also move properly so that it is given
the feeling of the moving camera.
Step 2 - Scene 2 (4 credits)
• In the second scene the car will move from right to left. Same as step 1
the car's wheels should spin properly.
• Background 2 together with the image depicting an elderly couple should
they also move appropriately to give the feeling of a moving camera.
Step 3 - Connecting Scenes and Final Animation (3 credits)
Finally, through Synfig join the 2 scenes you made into a 20 second animation.
Modify the start time and end time of each scene appropriately, to merge the scenes into
appropriate frames in your animation.
Delivery Instructions:
• You will create a folder named FIRSTNAME-AM, where firstname
and AM will be your elements, there you will put the images given to you along with all the
.sifz and .mp4 or .avi files that you will create, compress and deliver
compressed file in zip or rar or 7z format.

• For rendering you can use one of the following options:
1. You will render a file of type .mp4, you will use the ffmpeg option with
MPEG-4 part2 parameters. (XviD/DivX).
2. You will render a file of type .avi, you will use the predefined ones
parameters.
