Arduino RF24Mesh Project

I am working on a project to make temporary elevator call buttons, and need to utilize the RF24mesh library from arduino to make a dynamic network. The cab will move through floors 1-12, and I need the mesh network to update itself every x seconds (tbd once the code is running). I have created communication between the units using the examples library but I hit a wall when creating my own header and payload. I would need two sets of code. 1 for the master to receive signals, and to light up the corresponding LED (using the MEGA board) and the master will have 12 "clear" buttons, which will reset the LED's for that floor on the master. So the master will have 24 outputs (LED) and 12 physical inputs ("clear" buttons). The Slave units (UNO's) will have two physical inputs, and send the signal out to the mesh network either up or down and the corresponding floor. Once the code is set up, I will then customize the NodeID for each floor. I can send a sketch of what I see the end product looking like for reference. Essentially I need a dynamic network that updates itself and the path to the master node (node 00 in RF24mesh).
