There is currently a process where a client logs in and fills out a form. Once the form is filled out the data is added to a couple of tables in the msSQL database and an email is sent to the client. The email has two links with transactionID which creates a (1)printable letter and (2)text to print on a plastic membership card. This system needs to be upgraded to process 200+ (not 1) entries at a time. Here are improvements needed on the system.
1. First problem: even after the client has entered data in the system they must go back into the system, select that transaction, update shipping status and shipping pricing. This needs to be fixed by updating the shipping information and shipping pricing on the initial submission of the form. I have already set-up the frame work for this upgrade described here

There are a couple of things that need to be updated.
The @datetime field should be the current date
The @caseid can be <null> (I think if not I will advise)
@cost needs to be set according to the following
not set if country is Mexico (country is defined in "SP_XYZ")
0.45 if country is US
0.85 if country is Canada
1.05 for all other countries
ListPrice and ActualCost should be <null>
2. After 1. is completed and tested we will move to the next step. Because there are so many entries being made we will need to upload a CSV file. The upload process will need to do the following.
- upload the csv file
- process each line of the csv file as if the line had been entered into the form except in batches
- this will need to be done in batches no bigger than 40.
- for each batch only one email will need to be created and sent (not one email for each line)
- that email will need to have two links in it, just like the current process but....
- each link will need to identify the the first transactionID of the batch and the last transactionID of the batch. So the page created by that link will be properly formatted to print, for example, 40(the number of entries in a batch) letters
- the other link will need to do the same thing and be able to print 40 membership cards
Notes:
The last batch will almost never have 40 entries
We may upload a csv file that has less than 40 entries so we will need to test the following to signify completion
- csv file of 1 entry
- csv file with 39 entries
- csv file with 40 entries
- csv file with 41 entries(which will of course create 2 "batch" emails
- I do have a csv file structure designed
- I have confirmed that we can add page breaks to the current printable pages and they will work with our system
