I am in need of a cryptocurrency payment gateway plugin to be developed for the AbleCommerce 9.0 eCommerce platform. This gateway to be developed will provide a checkout experience similar to a Paypal checkout, but will accept as payment any of a variety of crypto currencies instead of fiat.
I am looking at using the [login to view URL] platform. They have payment gateway plugins for a variety of php based eCommerce platforms, but none for AbleCommerce which is ASP.NET MVC based.
With that said, this project is about starting with an existing open source crypto currency payment gateway for a .php based eCommerce platform and porting that gateway to be ASP.NET MVC based for AbleCommerce.
To integrate a payment gateway with Ablecommerce one needs to implement a specific .NET interface, as described here: [login to view URL]
* One will need to understand how to set up AbleCommerce in a local IIS development environment - source code is available for AbleCommerce I will provide.
* C#, ASP.NET MVC skills needed to implement the payment gateway plugin.
* .php skills needed to understand existing open source payment gateways to be ported
* Familiarity with crypto currency and cryptocurrency payments will be very helpful
