Hello,
We are seeking a logo design. The name of the business is [url removed, login to view], an online classified website. The mascot (so to speak) is a "woodchuck." We would like the "woodchuck" to be colorful with a bit of a sneaky mischievous personality. He must be fun with big eyes, detailed, and of course have the "buck teeth" characteristic that wood chucks are known for. We are seeking someone who can draw/create the "woodchuck" in various positions to give us a feel for the logo design choices. For example, a logo with some full body shots, some with head shots, and some with upper torso shots.
We would like the "woodchuck" to be "doing" something in the logo/design (e.g. taking a bite out of money or wood, reading a newspaper, or something along those lines). We are looking for creativity and a professional design. The letters [url removed, login to view] are to be "fun" but not 3D (think: cartoon-like). We are still determining a "tag line" to associate with the design. The dimensions should be 800x800 for the stand-alone character or at most 800 pixels high by whatever width works if made into a banner so as to allow for "shrinkage" to fit on business cards, ads, t-shirt, etc.
For the style of the character, think Alvin, Simon, and Theodore of "Alvin and the Chipmunks" combined as far as personality is concerned (with a higher percentage of Alvin shining through). The appearance is not really nailed down. Use your best judgement. Glasses, such as what Simon wears, are not desired.
