I need a main cartoon character / mascot for a new magazine.
The magazine primarily consists of satire of pop culture, celebrities, public figures and life in general.
The character will be appearing on the front covers of each issue of the magazine so I need a good artist who can draw beyond the big head and small body cartoons. The artist needs to be creative and can create the character and any additional surrounds that fits the character.
I prefer the style of art shown on my web page at [login to view URL] (but I am flexible, so lets see what you got).
I will need 4 drawings in different perspectives (Front, back side, above)
I will need some mockups /sketches before a final decision is made.
Each drawing should be the size of roughly a single 8-1/2 by 11 inch paper
The finished product must be in color.
Time line to get it done is one week from the day you are selected.
The artist must be able to scan the finished work in high resolution and email it to me in .jpg format.
The artist must mail me all paper originals if requested.
I will have exclusive rights to the finished product.
I will provide the artist with my description of how the character should look in general such as age, build, height, hair…and so on.
The artist must provide some samples of their previous work. If you do not have samples, Please don’t bid.
