Phase 1 - Develop an API that will take json like stream (secutities/stock data) and write (asyncrohous) to a database.
- approx. 8000 records/minute with 12 data elements/record for 10 hours/day, 5 days per week
- need to select database platform (possibly unstructured) with strong real time analytic capabilities
- 7 day data decay rate
- eventually 28 days kept on seperate archive database
