Hi, we'd like to design an industrial grade modem. This modem is going to be used to communicate information from "remote" places. Various devices / sensors will be connected to the modem. All this modem needs to be is a bridge between our servers and the connected devices. Small size and modular design is required along with all schematics, BOM, PCB design files etc. (preferably using altium designer but any software will do)
Technical Requirements
* Power Supply : work from 220 V AC (preferably using a small power module that does the conversion for us, e.g. Hi-link modules ([login to view URL])
* Use GSM/GPRS to communicate over the internet. Preferably using pre-approved ICASA certified chips, e.g. SIMcom 868 etc...
* Have a Modular connector ([login to view URL]), e.g. 4P4C for an RS485 output (A and B line)
