I need a mysql db that will allow me to update an excel spreadsheet with up to 30,000 keywords on a monthly basis. Each month's data must be kept separate so that the keywords that appear consistently month after month can be discovered.
I would like each of the words in this table to reference google to see how many pages are indexed for this keyword and store it in this database, as well.
Once the excel file is uploaded, a cron run every 10 minutes will grab 1,000 keywords and check google index number, then update that entry in the table with the number of indexed pages and timestamp for each keyword.? If all pages in the table have already been indexed, the cron will do nothing.
Then I would like a seperate table that will store google trends data on an hourly basis ([url removed, login to view]) into a new table.
Finally, I would like a page that will allow me to enter two timestamps in a form (in table 2) and also a dataset for a certain date (in table 1).
When I click submit, the script will find all keywords that are in table 2 (within the timestamp range) that are also in table 1 (but only words that are in the data from the excel spreadsheet dataset that I chose in the form.
Deliverables:
1) Database structure for two tables described above
2) PHP script that will get google index results and which I can put into cron
3) PHP script that will do the calculation and cross-referencing described above

I would think that the ideal way to do this would be to have a table that stores each of the keywords in a table with: 1) Keyword 2) date_stamp (date uploaded from excel sheet) 3) number of pages indexed in google, 4) time_stamp when this search was performed.
