Need script that will read Bar code information in PDF and return data to applescript

Script will essentially be given an argument of the file to process. It will then need to read the PDF for bar code data. Return the code type, code data, code position (X&Y), code rotation, code width & code height. The script will have to return this data to an applescript. You will be required to provide the applescript example to run the script and return that data.
Script must be able to read both vector and raster bar codes. Script must also be able to read rotated bar codes as well.
There are some open source libraries that can be used, here is one...
