Site hacked - possible DDOS attack

IMPORTANT: This is very urgent so I'm only interested in freelancers who can get to work right away.
My VPS server has been stopped by my host due to "High outbound traffic". I suspect one or more of my accounts/sites on the server has been hacked and I'm beeing DDOSed.
I need help finding the issue and preventing further attacks so I can bring the sites back online.
I have process logs provided by my host that I can send you upon request.
Please let me know what experience you have with this type of issue.
