seeking a solution to do the following utilziing fping or hrping (advanced pings);
1. use an ip address list (1 ip per line) - list will be called [url removed, login to view]
2. click a batch file/program, to open then run command line windows - 1 ping/ip per 1 window (so each ip/ping session, with its own window open and viewable)
3. open all associated windows (ping 1 ip, 1 window, ping 5 ips, 5 windows, etc) and keep them open
4. run pings to IPs from list, continuously (i.e -t), with date (i.e -d) and time (i.e -t) stamps and one ping request per each second (i.e. -s)
5. would like to adjust, if possible, any or all in prior line above (date format, time format and frequency like 1 per second, 1 per 15 seconds, 1 per 60 seconds, etc (if possible????)
6. a way to GRACEFULLY shut down the windows, ending the pings - to include at the end...the "ping statistics" like total sent, total received, lost, min, max and avg response times, etc - the end of normal ping sessions, those statistics
7. record all outputs, to their own, unique, single files - by IP address from the list, or the ip used in the session, etc...something to identify that file with the proper ip address - but same as using the list for running pings against ips, using same way to auto generate the files name too.
example, for fping fping 8.8.8.8 -c -t 1000 -D -T -L c:\[url removed, login to view]
pings 8.8.8.8
-c = continuous
-t = frequency, like 1000ms = 1 second, or 15000 for 15 seconds
-D=date stamp
-T =time stamp
-L = file name to save too what i am trying to do is; create a list of ips, put into a list called [url removed, login to view]
automate initiating, opening, running and then stopping, then closing all ping sessions at once - gracefully with statistics recorded at end record all the sessions, to each own, unique file name - for later analysis.
when i open the file, this is the kind of data below i'd expect to see inside;
