bash script to email files

Need a BASH script that will do the following
1) Watch for a folder ~/sendthis
2) If a file is found with a “.sh” or “.py” rename it “.txt-sh” or “.txt-py”
3) Send each file one at a time via gmail (this will be interesting)
4) Move each file that is sent to ~/sendthis/done
Helping me get this working properly will be the delivery and goal.
Please note there is hope we can mutually complete this task; we can leave each other nice comments and 5 stars for each?
Please note project is due in (2) two hours as this projects deadline, as this is needed asap from the time we start.

Hi, You need ssmtp and mail utils installed before setting up the script. If both packages are available then we can do the tasks with a shell script. Let me know if interested. THanks
