Web Designer to produce top-notch marketing collateral for client campaigns.

We have an immediate requirement for a Creative Suite rockstar to help us produce top-notch marketing collateral for our client’s campaigns.

We work with some of the city and region’s top brands delivering campaigns through web adverts and other online collateral.

We’re looking for a designer that has at least two years commercial experience producing web-ready artwork from brief to join our team over the coming weeks.

You must have an outstanding eye for detail, be brilliantly creative and have a good knowledge of how to work within the scope of our client’s brands. Aside from working strictly from brief, we love to hear creative ideas on how an idea can be expanded using something new or unusual.

We also require designers that work with us to have a very up-to-date view of the design world; contemporary styles and techniques, how brands should look and feel, and what design work is appropriate to the destination format. We also need you to be fully up-to-date with digital; industry standards, ad sizes, file size, collateral format and download times.

You’ll be working under your own initiative to hit deadlines, you must be comfortable working as a part of a larger team, interpreting a brief, feeding back any potential issues and being responsive to feedback.

We expect members of our studio to take responsibility for gaining background into the campaigns they are working on and collateral that you are producing to deliver the best possible solution to fulfil the brief. As a young, growing business, you’ll sometimes need to interpret client requirements whilst we wait on a comprehensive brief.

Required skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5+ (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and optionally, Fireworks)

• Outstanding computer skills.

• Excellent levels of competency with the English language.

• Great layout skills

• Excellent typography skills

• Fully versed in issues relating to publishing content for the web.

Skills that are desirable but not essential: knowledge of (X)HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience of designing for print including artworking. Please include these on your application if you can demonstrate them.

We’ll want to be dazzled by your portfolio of work and bowled over by your can-do attitude to work.
