Utilities Business Consultant, Pricing and Quotation Gas, London UK

I am a small mediator in freelance employees and am currantly looking for a medior to senior Business Consultant with (business) knowledge of Pricing and Quotation GAS for several pending projects on the P&Q engine. Duration Start with 3 months contract (hourly fee) with expectation for 3 years total Location London area, UK Hotel and travelling expenses are paid for. All communication is in English. A professional level on English language is required to give workshops and communicate with higher management. Your role For a large utilities’ company near London we are looking for a talented business consultant with expertise in product management. Your focus will lie mainly on the business side for an implementation of gas products in a pricing and quotation engine. That’s why as a business consultant you’ll - advise the P&Q department in strategic decisions - facilitate workshops and - capture and understand the business needs - lead customers to an optimal and communal solution - create buy-in with the business on the proposed solution - Configure a pricing/quoting workflow in the P&Q engine through business rules and with support of technical guru’s - Provide clear understanding and visibility during the entire process Profile In your new role you have/are: - a minimum of 3 years in advising utility businesses - an analytic and creative mindset for solving challenging issues - strong communicator and a natural talent in leading workshops - able to work independently - goal oriented and can bring added value like no other - an easy-going attitude and are a true team player - knowledge of the (UK) utilities market - In depth knowledge of (UK) gas and electricity products is a big plus - have experience with or background in IT We offer - a flexible and passionate work environment - support in configuring and understanding the P&Q engine - a fixed 3-month contract with a strong possibility for extension to 3 years Note: hourly fee is maximized. First 3 months "try-out" is for 15EUR/hour less pay, then for up to 3 years your full hourly rate.
