Sample Daily Meal Plans
Not everyone recommends meal plans, as these are often too rigid and, let’s face it, sometimes boring and tedious, which in essence, kind of defeats the purpose of flexible dieting. But let’s face it, some of us need that rigidity to stay focused while dieting. If nothing else, these few sample meal plans will at least offer you a guideline as how to prepare meals and/or snacks.
Sample Meal #1: 1700 Calorie Diet:
Breakfast: 2 scrambled or hardboiled eggs with 2 slices of bacon or sausage, black coffee with coconut oil
Snack #1: 1 apple, ½ cup of raspberries and ½ cup of red grapes
Lunch: Tuna, Chicken or Shrimp Caesar Salad
Snack #2: Non-fat Greek Yogurt w/granola or honey
Dinner: 6-8 oz lean sirloin steak, 1 medium sized white or sweet potato, 1 cup of broccoli or asparagus, and one cup or one small ear of corn.
