Website
The website will be a single page website consisting of the following sections: Video, About us, Fine franchise,
Franchise, Stores, Contact.
At the top of the page the website will have an intro video and links to the appropriate sections and social media.
The aforementioned sections (About us, Fine franchise, Franchise, Stores, Contact) will be placed underneath each
other. The contents of the About us, Fine franchise, Franchise sections will be sliders (also known as ‘carousel’)
allowing the website visitors to view all the sub-items by clicking the left and right arrows.
The ‘Stores’ section will show a map and an input field that accepts postcodes and cities allowing the visitors to find
the closest store(s) for the given postcode/city. Clicking on the map’s markers will show basic information about the
store (Store name, telephone number, email, address).
The 'Contact' section will have a form allowing customers to send an email to the Client.
The website will have a ‘Newsletter’ section allowing the website visitors to subscribe to Client’s mailing list.
Newsletters will be managed by Client using a third-party software.
CMS
The CMS will allow Client to make changes to some of the elements of the website.
Users: one user to have access to administration area, further users to be added if needed
Sections: ability to add/edit/remove sections (title, text, main image) within the pre-defined (fixed) menu items
('About us', 'Fine fragrance' and 'Franchise')
Stores: ability to add/edit/remove stores (title, telephone number, email, address)
Website properties: edit the video link (YouTube and Vimeo links will be supported), social media links, contact form
recipient, ability to set SEO (Search Engine Optimization) keywords.
Implementation process
The implementation process consists of three phases: Sitebuild, CMS development and Testing.
In the Sitebuild phase I will develop a responsive Html and css markup based on the design.
In the CMS development phase I will develop the CMS that allows Client to manage some of the website’s contents.
In the testing phase I check the entire website using automated and manual testing to make sure it is operating as
expected.
The website will work in all modern web-browsers. It will be designed to operate on tablet and mobile devices too.
