Subscription based app for iPhone and iPad

I would like an app developed that supports buying subscriptions for a set period of time. What I am planning to supply is data based on my research; I will be able to tell you what the data will constitute of when we sign a NDA, but for now, you can consider it as a static HTML page with some images and possibly data pulled from some free web services. This HTML page/data will reside on a web server that I have and can be updated as needed. The idea is, after I upload this information to the web server, an option should be available in the app to purchase as it will apply to a certain period, may be a week. (similar to a magazine subscription, except in this case, each issue can contain 2-3 sub items) The option to buy this info will be available in the app, until the user has already purchased that issue of data. The previous purchases should be available for the user to view in a historical section, but I need to have the capability to amend this information as required, although it will never be deleted. I would like a standard format/template in which I can fill in the information so that it can be displayed in a consistent way. So, basically there will be two components - a basic website to upload text (with formatting) and images to the web server and the app itself that will pull this data for display after its purchased. In a nutshell, the app itself will be free to download, with the ability to purchase data issues for each week as they are made available. Similar to any newsstand app like Time Magazine etc, except that in this case, I will be controlling what's in the issue of the week. Each subscription can contain two to three items. I would like to have a set format/template in which I can put the information and I would need access to it so that it can be added/updated for each subscription period. The app will contain three main screens - Library which will display all the purchased subscriptions by the user in the format I have attached in the screen outline. A 'Latest' section which would display a notification when a new subscription is available to purchase as shown in Latest screen. And finally the description screen that will display the description of individual items within each subscription. - The option to purchase will be available within the app and the new data will be instantly available to view after the payment is successful - The button to purchase a new subscription should be enabled only if there is a new subscription available on the website - I would like to add a few lines and may be even an image as description of the newly available subscription for marketing purposes which should be viewable whenever a new issue is available for purchase (kind of like a preview) - For each issue, the app should support an image of predefined size (larger size for iPad) with some text that can be formatted. I am looking for just basic formatting like bold, underline, breaks and bullets along with links to external sites - The website needs to be secured with a login to avoid any direct hits from outside the app - The website will have a UI to enter the new information in a predefined template and the ability to enter info that should be displayed as a preview for this new issue - There should be some way to indicate the newly entered info is ready for use and should be available as a new issue in the app - The website needs to be able to provide read/write access to previously entered data using a login and these updates should be propagated to the app; there should be a notification in the app besides the item if any of its information has changed. I would like this app to have a professional look and feel although I am not expecting any heavy animation/graphics. But a clean and cool look is expected. I had initially awarded this project, but due to some unexpected circumstances it could not be completed. I am hoping to have this done as soon as possible. Thanks.
