Have through knowledge on djando and have been writing REST APIs for more than 3 years. I am working in the industry for past 3 years and coding since past 6 years now. Will be using Django as a REST framework, MySQL as database, Django Authentication for security and Elasticsearch for search queries. Will complete the project in less than 7 days. The requirement involves storing the tweets of your follower and displaying it into an UI. For best performance we can do a requirement analysis and select a persistent data store like , elastic search , mongo or mysql. ( It depends on number of follower and kind of scaling you want for application ) UI can be developed using React.js or Django framework. In case your UI framework choice ia Django , then it will be good to store data in RDBMS , because Django have good coupling with rdbms and gives nice performance.
