Can agree to review contract for 30% but speaking generally you may be better to save your money. Deposits are there as a penalty if you back out, and the seller may as a result not get as good a price. So it is pretty well established that you forfeit the deposit. You could try and negotiate with the seller (probably better person to person) but they are under no obligation to help you out.
