Help me get android studio working on my AMD computer

I have an AMD computer. Though it is 3 years old it does EXCEED the minimum requirements for android studio. However, it gives me errors and will not run even the sample app that comes with the IDE, "my first app". I have spent many hours over several weeks reading websites, help forums, blogs, youtube videos, etc to try to find out how to get it to work to no avail. I need someone that has the knowledge to guide me to getting android studio to work on my computer so that it WILL run the installed first app AND allow me to develop other apps of my own

hi there, I am not an expert with Android, but I had installed it here. I took me some time too. I have intel chip, and Windows. In any case, I wanna know the specifications of your computer, and the errors you are getting.

- If it does exceed minimum requirement for android studio then it should work if you have updated and downloaded all the required files needed for make it work. - When I first started I also faced similar problems, there can be number of reasons. I can help you solve this issue and can also save you from future issues
