The Reluctant Genie

This is a mobile app to help you (me) help yourself not to make an ass out of yourself. Again and again. It is fully customizable app for android (I use android) that allows you to block yourself from certain contacts and/or websites for a specific amount of time predetermined by you, ie: no texts/emails/phonecalls to specified contacts or no visits to specified websites like online gambling, shopping, Facebook, etc. I came up with this idea because I am going thru an emotional (on my end) breakup with my guy after apx 5 years and there have been countless times I knew I should just not call or send messages and just couldn't stop myself. I have repeatedly made a complete fool of myself, all the while knowing better, and at times possibly borderline psychotic? Stalker-like? I have not found another app on the market similar to this idea although I have searched many times with variables. It has been embarrassing to say the least. I have also noticed unusual amounts of time spent on Facebook checking up on him during work or other times of my day that really constitute poor use of time management skills and potentially self destructive behavior if my boss were to notice what I was actually doing while on the clock. Thankfully he has not, so far. Also, if this were not enough, I love to gamble online, but there are times I should be more focused on other activities (like making money as opposed to losing it?) but visit my favorite site anyway.
