We welcome the opportunity to meet you! Organization: PDU SDN & Policy Control is a PDU within DU Network Analytics and Control (DUAC) at BUCI. SDN and Policy Control are a fundamental part of the ongoing transformation of the networks and PDU SDN & Policy Control is responsible for the analysis, architecture, development, release and support of the portfolio of SDN and Policy Control products and solutions within Ericsson. Some of the products developed under this umbrella are: Service Aware Policy Controller (SAPC), the family of SDN Controllers (including BBSC, MLWC and CSC) and EVS. The SAPC Product Development Group (PDG) organization is responsible for the end-to-end development of the SAPC product. The SAPC PDG consists of over 160 employees and is a global organization with operations in Spain and China. Job description: As SW Developer you will work within a XFT (cross functional team) facilitated by a Scrum Master and a Scrum Product Owner. We are in an exciting time introducing our new virtualized/cloudified product generation. We run our development in programs using Agile and Lean ways of working and principles. We are looking either for a wide profiler that can range from testing to development or even integration or a deep profiler in testing and integration. Responsibilities & Tasks: Your main job will be assuring quality of new developments within SAPC product by means of testing the system on both, functional and non-functional levels, and securing existing quality is not degraded. You will perform activities such as: Knowing the functionality and requirements to implement Proposing new and updating legacy tests cases specifications Designing and executing test cases Performing troubleshooting when required Handling Defects: reporting, solving and verifying when needed. Writing and/or reviewing customer documentation. Helping your XFT in other disciplines. Participating in regular team ceremonies. Position Qualification: The following competences and attitudes are demanded: Bachelor degree or above in engineering, computer science or similar Proactivity English Level C1 (Advanced) Good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills Genuinely interested in technology. Strong analytical skills: ability to formulate problems and solve them Solution-oriented, open-minded and creative Self-learner Enjoys teamwork Open, honest and transparent Experienced in : TTCN-3 or similar programming language Scripting: python, bash Unix/Linux DIAMETER, RADIUS, SIP, REST & LDAP protocols Databases: MySQL, Oracle, OpenLDAP IP Security/ Vulnerability.
