Software Engineer

Performs complex design, maintenance, enhancement, testing, implementation, and support of software.  Completes the development of software test requirements for complex modules under development, executes complex test specifications.  Completes estimates for complex modules under development, and estimates own work.  Performs reviews of complex customers standards specification and other documentation to determine software engineering requirements.  Performs presentations of complex technical findings and developments.  Completes the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem and system test procedures.  Knowledge in automated intra-logistics processes would be an advantage.   Development of software with Java EE for projects with Dematic standard Warehouse Management System DC-Director Perform design and coding to meet Dematic’s established development standards and procedures Assisting project and technical engineers in integration of new systems. Assisting technical and development personnel in application quality testing. Working on site to install, commission, and test installation of material handling solutions and warehouse management solutions Providing specified technical support to customers on-site, when assigned. Translate business requirements to technical design documentation Writing of costumer documentation Implementation of key-user training Experience with Object Oriented Analysis, Design and ProgrammingGood knowledge of design patterns. Good knowledge of coding standards especially for Java and Java EE environment:Servlet/JSP EJB CDI JTA JMS JPA JAX-RS JAXB-XML JNI Application Servers: * JBoss * Glassfish Good knowledge in relational Databases (ORACLE, SQL-Server) and SQL Basic knowledge of Oracle Database managing and tuning Web services implementation (SOAP, WSDL) Advance knowledge of TCP/IP sockets communication. GWT (Google Web Toolkit) Maven Subversion IDEs: Eclipse IntelliJ IDEA Bachelors degree in computer science, electronic engineering or equivalent experience. Certification may be required in some areas English language written and verbal is mandatory Willingness to travel 20% - 40% is a necessity
