I have two problems using the MS Word Application from within a VB6 project:-
First I have a template document with a table in it. The table is 8 columns wide and starts off one row deep. I also have an array in memory which has been populated with data which in the example I am working with is 8 columns x 4 rows. My code creates a new document based on the template and then attempts to populate the table from the data in the array, one cell at a time, adding a row when necessary. When I single step through the code, it works perfectly - when I allow it to run through without a break, it some times populates some of the cells but not others and sometimes none at all. Sometimes it even bombs out of the routine alltogether ! It seems to be a speed issue with setting the active cell, as it works better on slow machines ! (Code below)
Secondly, when this does work, and the table grows beyond the size of the page, it doesnt split the table accross multiple pages, but seems to keep it on the original page, only showing a bit of it. I have tried setting the property to allow rows to break over pages on the template but it doesnt want to work.
Can you help ? !!
