523804 Magento Ecommerce Web Site Design / Theme and Integration

We require someone to design and implement a theme for our new Magento web site. We have installed Magento and are currently in the process of customising the back end and features to our requirements, but we need someone to create the front end, including the home page, product pages, checkout process etc. The site will sell a range of products for the home and garden as well as seasonal Christmas goods. We will provide links to sites that we like the look and feel of to give you a general idea of what we are after. Please include a message with your bids that includes a list of URLS to past designs you have done for Magento. The web site should include the following features, functionality and considerations: 1. The site should be SEO friendly 2. The menu should be near the top of the page and use a pop out “exploded” menu. We have already installed one such extension, and it seems to be ok so it probably just needs the CSS editing to fit the style / look of the site. 3. Logo design: Although the company has a current logo it is quite dated, a new logo would need to be designed and implemented on the site to fit the new look and feel of the site. 4. A rotating image banner should be shown at the top of the home page of the web site, and a .psd file provided so we can edit the banners ourselves. 5. Images: We require a way to be found to ensure that our product images aren't pulled out of proportion or made to look “odd” within the look and feel of the site (mainly on the pages that list the available products rather than the individual product pages themselves). We currently have hundreds of product images that vary in height and width dimensions, so some sort of on the fly image manipulation that crops images so that they stay in proportion. 6. On the “category” pages that list all the products within the category we would like to display an additional product attribute of “MSRP” or “RRP” and have the site show the saving from the RRP. Ie MSRP £15 Our Price: £10 Saving £5 (33%). Examples of this can be provided. 7. Colour Scheme: Not entirely sure, current web site is blue and red, possibly black and green as the colour scheme for the new site. It does need to be neutral colours that can work with a a site selling a diverse range of products. Additional Themes: 8. We would also like a second “theme” installing which takes the above theme and adds a seasonal look for Christmas – ie snow flake background, reindeer, santa 9. A third “sale” theme should also be created, again taking the main design but with a few prominent “sale” banners / background.
