Customer order tracking ticket system

You will work with me to create a html/php/mysql based website. This website is a ticket system for tracking customer orders and requests at a automotive spare parts retailer. Each ticket will have: unique ticket number ticket type (order, quote, warranty) Vehicle identity Customer Identity Parts List Activity Log Ticket status Customer Communication Customer Identity (customer_id table) When creating a new ticket, firstly a customer identity will need to be selected or created. Vehicle identity (vehicle_id table) If the ticket is for vehicle parts, a vehicle identity will be required. If the customer selected has vehicles already, it will show here for selection, otherwise new vehicle must be created. The details saved in this table include a reference to the customer_id for searching ability. Ticket type Order, is when a ticket is relating to parts that we must order for customer quote, is for parts that we must quote a price to our customer warranty is for faulty parts that we must replace for our customer Parts list This is the list of parts that will be quoted/ordered/warranty. Each part will have the following fields: -Part Number (text box) -Description (text box) -Cost Price (text box) -Selling Price (text box) -Supplier (text box) -Ordered (tick box) -Received (tick box) -Dispatched (tick box) Activity log This is a complete log of activity of the ticket. Any time that anything is updated, it will be entered into the log with a time and date stamp, staff member who did it. For example, the following things will create a automated log entry -Added new part to ticket -Updated part details -any of the tick boxes updated for part -ticket details modified -customer communication Also some manual log entry's can be created, like with comments from staff. Customer communication We communicate with our customers via SMS using a SMS gateway. This communication will need to be integrated here and our staff can send messages to customer, and customer can respond. incoming SMS are routed to ticket via telephone number. Ticket status Ticket open or closed Ticket started (date/time) Last activity (last time any activity) Assigned staff member Ticket source (in-store, SMS, email, facebook)
