Event Decor Direct GOBO Customization Tool At Event Decor Direct we would like our customers to be able to create custom, laser etched GOBOs for projection at their events. A gobo (or GOBO) is a physical stencil or template slotted inside, or placed in front of, a lighting source, used to control the shape of emitted light. The GOBO customization tool will will be an interactive javascript tool that consists of : GOBO Template: A black circle which represents the actual GOBO When decoration elements are selected they should appear on the GOBO template, giving the customer a preview of their design Each element added to template should be individually selectable and moved around when dragged with mouse. Selected element should be rotated and scaled to desirable size with the use of the tools. The delete button under the GOBO should remove the selected element if pressed Border Decoration: Customers should be able to select a border decoration from the given styles. Once a style is clicked it should appear on the GOBO template. The border should be able to be rotated and scaled to desirable size. Add Your Own Text: Customers should be able to type their text into a text box They will have a number of predetermined web fonts to choose from pressing the "submit text" button will make the text appear on the GOBO template Text should be able to be rotated and scaled to desirable size. Fonts can accessed through the following link for direct integration: [login to view URL]:use/Collection:Pinyon+Script|Oleo+Script|Oleo+Script+Swash+Caps|Dynalight|Griffy|Spirax|Pacifico|Sancreek|Press+Start+2P|Irish+Grover|Sevillana Fonts also attached in zip file Submit Your Own Design: Customers should be able to select an image file from their computers to upload Once uploaded that image should be displayed in the GOBO template JPEG, PNG, BMP images only should be accepted but should be easily tweaked if we decide to accept more or less formats Max size of image uploaded will be determined but should be easily tweaked if we decide to change it Size & Rotation Tools The tools should be sliders which move when the red circle is clicked and dragged Size tool should scale the image proportionally always Rotation tool should rotate element Done Editing Button: After customer is with their design they should press the "Done Editing" button which will save a PNG image to a location on our server. Potentially open a GOBO product page with the newly created image as the product image. Needs to be compatible with osCommerce.
