My primary language is Python - I use the scrapy and selenium libraries for these types of tasks to fake all types of web interactions and scrape content. In past projects I have scraped financial data from a number of different sites and loaded it into an Excel spreadsheet so I am knowledgeable of the types of information you are looking for.
