Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It:
Find quotes about a specific topic from within the sacred texts of the world.
I will provide you with the list of sacred texts, and I will provide you with the specific topic you are researching. Some texts may have many quotes you can use. Some will have very few.
What you will provide at the completion of this project:
An Excel spreadsheet with individual tabs. Each tab will relate to just one specific sacred text. On the tab will be columns for the quote, and if relevant, either the page number / chapter number, and the URL where you found the quote.
Although it is ideal for the quotes to be no longer than one paragraph, it is possible that some of them will take the form of a short story (no more than 2 or 3 paragraphs). This is OK. If you have read this far, please use the word collie in your bid reply. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me before making your bid.
There are a little over 10 (about 12 or 13) sacred texts you will be acquiring quotes from. The list is here:

The Torah
The Egyptian Book Of The Dead
The Tao Te Ching
The Baghavad Ghita
Upanishads
Epic of Gilgamesh
The Iliad
The Works of Plato
I do not know how many quotes you will find from each text about my specific topic. If I did, I would do this project myself. :)
Therefore, please make sure your bid is focused on creating a reasonable depth or research so that you have enough time to find many quotes (it might be difficult, it also might be very easy). If you wish to ask what the specific topic / keyword is before making your bid, feel free to ask me.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this project listing, this is a VERY easy project. It is also a text project. If this project goes well, I will have future research projects for you as well. Please bid accordingly.
I have a plethora of experience with research and indexing keywords and quotes from text. Part of my Master's thesis was focused on using quantitative and qualitative research methods.
I also worked for a non-profit for three years where I updated and digitized all training materials so information was easily accessible and user friendly. I immediately began organizing and analyzing raw data dating back three years before I started. Additionally, I developed and taught methods of collecting and effectively utilizing quantitative and qualitative data for various projects and programs. This experience is important for the project as I research and analyze quotes from the religious texts.
This project will take less than a week and will be clearly organized so a layperson will be able to understand and use it. collie
