It involves - FPGA providing control and timing pulses to the image sensor - LVDS data lines between the image sensor and the FPGA - DDR memory attached to the FPGA - a connection from FPGA to FT601 to make a USB3.0 connection (I know there are other ways to get the FPGA to make USB3.0 directly, but there's a reason why we want to use FT601 chip). This is the image sensor I think this FPGA would be suitable, but proposals can be discussed.
