Actually you need fbx format for VR. It can be done either standard software ie Creo from PTC or Navisworks from Autodesk but both softwares are expensive for small projects. i can help you for screen sharing training on above solutions and also to do this work for you. i can also develop a short script program also for fbx in such case no additional software require.
