I would like to have a cloud formation template that asks for the following parameters: - Lambda function name - Stage - CodeCommit Repository and branch - Codepipeline name - And possibly other parameters as needed Then go and create a CodePipeline that does the following: - A CodePipeline that has CodeCommit as a source - CodeBuild as a buildstage that will read the configuration from the source - Cloudformation to post the changes to the lambda function My aim, is to have a template that will enable me to have CI/CD from my location machine to lambda by committing my code to CodeCommit. I will use this template to create as many repositories and lambda functions as I need because they will be used in different projects.

Hi, I'm a AWS certified associate solutions architect and I have work with lambda for a long time. I can provide what you are looking for. And just as a recommendation you don't need a code pipeline to deploy lambda functions. you can do it with a SAM template and Code build If you are interested , please let me know Have a nice day Thanks
