Android Bluetooth Notification Sharing App

Please see attached PDF for the fully formated document Hello, I’m looking to develop an android application that will have some Bluetooth functionality but before that here is some context. I’m a motorcyclist, in the past I was using a dedicated GPS from Garmin called the Zumo XT. I could connect my phone to that GPS via Bluetooth and if I had an app called Garmin Drive installed on my phone it was able to share some information between my phone and the GPS like for example notifications or Music information: Notification example: Music information: I’ve now switched to using a Samsung galaxy tab active 3 as a navigation device instead of the dedicated GPS and I’m now missing the notification / music information shared between my phone and the device in front of me while driving. I’m looking to recreate that behavior. With a dedicated android app About the app now: The app will have two side: - A receiver side (the tablet that I will use as a GPS) that will display music info and notifications information’s. - A sender side (my phone) that will be sending the information (notification and music) to the receiver. At launch, the user should be able to choose between the two sides and the choice should be remembered. Application should leverage Bluetooth low Energy. Every interaction on the receiver side (except for the settings menu) should take into consideration that user will be having motorcycle gloves, so every touch action needs to be big enough and not precise to account for the use of gloves. Feedback from the app is not necessary. If at some point the two devices are not connected and get connected later on, missed notification during the unconnected period should not be sent. The application should be able to handle any time of notifications from any applications like: SMS / Calls, whatsapp, messenger, instagra, facebook, …. Application should not send the same notification twice in a row (need to check that the new notification received is different from the one that was sent previously) Application should run in the background for the sender side at least (Mandatory)   List of all the Nice to have features sorted by priority.
