Job Profile:  Will be responsible for Developing Native Android Mobile application (Similar to Airbnb).  The primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.  The candidate would be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential. Responsibilities:  Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.  Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.  Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.  Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile:  Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing native mobile apps.  Proficient with Android Studio.  Having knowledge of React Native will be an advantage.  Proficient with cloud message APIs and push notifications, Google Maps, Payment Gateway Integrations.  Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.  Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.  Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.  Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}.
