Python-Kivy-Android Camera with OpenCV

I am working on an android app and need assistance on video streaming from the phone camera. I already have the code for a python machine learning model, and want a stream of frames from the camera into the OpenCV part of the model. I need the simplest of code that can stream video out from the camera, with implementation into OpenCV. I am currently using kivy with buildozer, but other methods are accepted so long as they work with our OpenCV python code. The current problem is that trying to open a video stream using either [login to view URL]([login to view URL]) or [login to view URL](0) fails on android. The target is an app where the user places their phone in the dashboard of a car to film the road ahead of them, and the app will then classify the passing traffic signs in real time. This means that the processing has to happen in real time.
