Excel to MySQL in JSP

I need a two screen JSP/Servlet/Java. The screen should perform the following process: Screen 1 A JSP that presents a "dialog box" that lets the user browse their hard drive and select an excel spreadsheet. Screen 2 A JSP that contains information about a MySql database on the left side and the selected Excel spreadsheet on the right. I have developed an application in VB6 that I to emulate in Java, JSP, and Servlets. The screen below is an example of a process I use that allows the users to select an Excel spreadsheet from their computer and load the data within it into a table, in my case a MySQL database. In this example the user selects an Excel spreadsheet named “[login to view URL]?. This spreadsheet contains data, with the first row being a header row. In the example above, the excel column headers are “s01_id??, “s01_name_last??, etc..., as seen under the Excel Fields column. The user then drags and drops column names, found under the “Excel Fields?? column of the Excel section, over to the related row name (Fields) found under the “Access Fields?? section on the left. (In this example, it is purely coincidental that the excel column names are the same as the table column names. In reality, they can have any name.) Once the Import button is clicked, all the data found in the spreadsheet is inserted into the “students?? table, inserting the data from the named excel column into the named table column name. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The screens must be either html or JSPs. Any servlet code must be written in Java. The web app will run on Tomcat and can run on either a Linux box or a Windows box, which ever is easiest.
