C++/Excel VBA Programming for Keyence Optical Sensor

I work for a company called Times Microwave Systems and I am developing a device to measure the contact height on a variety of coaxial cable connectors. This device has a few distinct parts that need to be combined into one user interface (mot likely VBA with Excel). The first part of the device is a Teknic servo motor (PN: CPM-MCPV-2321P-RLN) that has a disk mounted on the shaft that can hold up to 30 different connector geometries. The servo turns the wheel so that the center of each connector interface passes through the Keyence Con-focal Displacement sensor. The motor will first home to a pre-defined zero position, then perform a rapid movement to the proper interface spot, and finally perform a slow pass so the optical sensor can measure the inner contact heights. This part of the project is being controlled by an Arduino sketch that I have developed and just needs to be referenced by the master VBA code. The second part of the project concerns the Keyence Con-focal Displacement sensor (PN: CL-P070N). I need the optical sensor to start recording data as soon as the servo begins its slow pass through the sensor's field of view and stop as soon as the servo stops moving. Once the data is compiled I need the the two cursors within CL-Navigator to find the pre-defined reference plane for a connector type and level the data set. Once it is leveled I need to take a measurement and record the data. Then all of this needs to be exported into some type of database that can be indexed at a later time. The final part of the project is the User-Interface. I would prefer if everything could be done within Excel by calling both the Arduino code for the Teknic servo and the C++ code for the Keyence Optical sensor.
