When PRI goes down or fluctuate asterisk is unable to hangup channels and calls are increasing along with its channels. During this process real-time screen shows huge no. of calls even when few agents are login. User login from 1.5 but calls dial from 1.4 vice versa. This needs to be standardize. Un-necessary channels are getting created on both server for single call. There are 4 PRI but only single PRI was enable, rest 3 PRI was not active so calls were not dialing from those PRI and that was the reason for channel unavailability. This issue was resolve yesterday by activating rest 3 PRI line from server. Network level optimization require as there is huge RTP traffic from server. Database performance optimization is require to so that server load is under control. During entire day PRI fluctuation happens many times this needs to be control by escalating to TELCO vendor.
