I am extraordinary. I've completed three contemporary romance books, all of which have original ideas and explore many of the different aspects that come with romance; from the painstaking grief of rebuilding your life after losing a loved one, to the childlike joy that comes with a first love. Romance is my favourite genre as it is, to me, the most provocative. It's the best show of humanity. In academy, both portfolios I submitted for English were in the romance genre. In both works, I was the only person in my community to receive 100%.
I'm a native English speaker, though have proficiency in written French and Swedish
Last year, I averaged writing 25k words per week for a novel I was working on. Sadly, the project ended up being scrapped, though I still do believe it shows the dedication I put into my writing. I've ghost written for several online works, including fan-made fiction for various communities, and published my own works in said areas.
I also mainly read within the romance genre, and am incredibly well versed in the various tropes, writing styles, and conventions. My love for romance doesn't stop at modern fiction either, but lends itself to Meiji era Japanese classics such as Mori's 'The Wild Geese', as well as Western classics such as Austen's 'Sense and Sensibility'.
Upon further contact, I will send the first three chapters from my latest contemporary romance, 'Honey and Lime'.
